The
South London Gallery re-opened on 15 June 2004 following completion
of phase one of an ambitious building project with improved
physical access throughout the building. This included the
addition of a wheel chair ramp, a lift in our entrance corridor,
accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, a lounge area
and a dedicated education space.
The lift with carry a seated passenger or conventional wheelchair.
Unfortunately at present the SLG is inaccessible to users
of electric wheelchairs. The gallery will be fully accessible
to everyone on completion of phase 2 of our building project
in Spring of next year.
Parking in the local vicinity is limited but buses with disabled
access stop outside the Gallery.
