Interns
The SLG employs interns to work with the Education & Outreach, Programme and the Marketing & Communications departments on a three-monthly basis. Internships are unpaid but London travel expenses are covered.

PA & Office Manager
Deadline: 10am on Monday 20th February
Salary: £19,000 to £23,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Deputy Director
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 10am – 6pm, plus occasional evenings.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and hardworking PA and Office Manager to support the Director and take responsibility for the smooth running of the gallery’s offices.
It is essential that you have at least two years’ secretarial or administrative experience within a busy office, and knowledge of contemporary visual arts. You will need excellent administrative and organisational skills and an ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of people.
Programme Assistant
Deadline: 10am on Monday 13th February
Salary: Up to £23,000 pro rata (0.6) depending on experience
Contract: Two-year fixed term
Reports to: Programme Manager
Working Hours: 3 days per week between Mon-Fri 10am – 6pm, plus occasional evenings.
We are seeking to appoint a Programme Assistant who will assist in developing and delivering the artistic programme at the South London Gallery and a new series of off-site commissions.
This role is suitable for an individual with experience of organising temporary projects and/or exhibitions, and a keen interest in and knowledge of contemporary visual art. You will need excellent administrative, organisational, writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of people.
