Art Assassins

The SLG's Young People's Forum

The Art Assassins are a group of young people aged between 14-20 years old who meet every Thursday at the South London Gallery.  The group work together with contemporary artists, designers, film makers to create a programme of events for other young people and a wider audience.

Each Art Assassins’ project is led by the young people’s personal interests. These projects evolve through investigating and exploring their knowledge and experiences of society, art and their personal situation, often culminating in creating a platform for young people to represent themselves and their ideas. The Art Assassins also regularly visit contemporary artworks, live programmes, gallery spaces and permanent collections within London.
