SLG Shortlisted for New London Award

The South London Gallery has been shortlisted for a New London Award which recognises the capital's best building projects, for its extension by 6a architects.

It is one of five projects in the Visiting category which highlights museums, art galleries, theatres, installations and cultural buildings that attract local visitors and tourists.

All shortlisted projects will feature in a new NLA book, New London Projects 2011/12 and also in a permanent exhibition of New London Projects at The Building Centre from September.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 12 July 2011.
