As a registered charity, the South London Gallery needs to raise a significant amount every year from individuals, companies, trusts and foundations alongside the funding the gallery receives from Arts Council England and Southwark Council.

The support provided by our donors ensures the SLG continues to be a free public gallery, welcoming more than 130,000 visitors and involving thousands of children and young people in education activities annually. This year is a pivotal time for the SLG with the launch of a capital campaign to expand the gallery into the former Peckham Road Fire Station which has been given to organisation by an anonymous donor. The scale of the gift is truly exceptional and chimes perfectly with the philanthropic history of the South London Gallery’s foundation in the late nineteenth century as a centre of excellence, open to all. Having received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop the project, the SLG now needs to raise £1.5m in donations by June 2016 to release a further £1.5m of HLF funding.

There are many ways you can support the SLG's expansion into the Peckham Road Fire Station alongside the gallery's wider artistic and education programmes.

You can make a donation of any size by debit or credit card here.
