The Clore Studio at the South London Gallery is a distinctive and elegant setting for a range of private functions, receptions and corporate events for up to 60 guests. As a registered charity, all income generated from venue hire directly supports the gallery’s education and artistic programmes.

At present, we are unable to accept venue hire bookings until autumn 2016. This is due to building work being undertaken at the rear of the gallery for the redesign of the adjoining courtyard which is being transformed into a stunning garden by the acclaimed artist Gabriel Orozco with architects 6a and botanists from Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

For venue hire enquiries in 2016 that do not require access to the garden, such as photoshoots or filming, we will endeavour to accommodate your request so please contact us with your enquiry. We also have two smaller rooms available for meetings and awaydays, for up to 15 guests.

We will have further information and prices for autumn 2016 onwards available due course. If you would like to be among the first to know about the SLG's re-launched hire programme please register your interest by emailing Georgina Davey at
