2-4PM, DROP-IN, FREE, CLORE STUDIO

Join artist Mónica Rivas Velásquez in the studio for a series of experimental drawing workshops, playing with texture, movement, light and colour. Come along to build drawings that expand out of the studio, taking over unusual spaces and exploring different parts of the buildings – including a drawing that wants to breathe!

The Sunday Spot is an ongoing series of free, drop-in family activities which takes place every Sunday from 2-4pm, suitable for children aged 3-12 years. All sessions are inclusive, for more information on access to the gallery please read here.

BIOGRAPHY

Mónica Rivas Velásquez is an artist and educator working with drawing, text and installation. Mónica’s work traces ideas of care, encounter and relation through expanded notions of drawing, embodied narratives and the relation between image and text. Combining her studio practice with educational and editorial projects in galleries and museums, Mónica is interested in creating spaces of learning with others.
