EXHIBITION: GOD LIFE: MODERN HOUSE ON LAND OUTSIDE GAME TABLE
This edition was produced to accompany Susan Cianciolo’s exhibition, God Life: Modern House on Land Outside Game Table, 2019. On the opening night of the exhibition, Cianciolo showed a new performance entitled Scene 10 – The Celebration and the Games, which saw the Games activated by her collaborators, students and friends wearing handmade costumes. Pictures of the costumes, performers and other materials from the exhibition are part of each unique edition made for the SLG. Cianciolo has also included items from her personal archive, including drawings, notes, original photographs, and material made by her young daughter Lilac. Like much of her output, the Fanzines for the SLG are inspired by her memories, visions, and her deep spirituality.
