EXHIBITION: NOTHING IS FOREVER, 25 JUNE – 19 SEPTEMBER 2010
This edition consists of two postcards. The buyer initially receives one postcard (detail shown) followed by a second personalised postcard sent by the artist directly to the buyer by post to complete the set.
Nothing is Forever celebrated the completion of the SLG’s £2 million building project, bringing together wall paintings, drawings and text pieces by 20 British and international artists. Seamlessly integrating art and architecture, and with each work destined to be embedded in the fabric of the buildings when painted over at the end of the show, Nothing is Forever marked an important and transitional moment in the South London Gallery’s history.
