School SOS has invited Helen Hester to present a public lecture as part of the SOS_22 programme.
School SOS is a nomadic Not-For-Profit Critical Design School that seeks to challenge modes of delivering Higher Education in the UK.
This lecture will discuss the fixed nature of gender and gendered labour through work and technology. As part of her book, After Work, Helen Hester explores the social and political nature of domestic work and how it is often an extension of the daily paid work life for women.
