Join Martin Glover for a BSL tour of New Contemporaries.
The tour will last for around 1 hour.
Meet in the Main Gallery, 65-67 Peckham Rd, London, SE5 8UH.
Guests are invited to socialise and grab a drink together in the café after the tour.
Please note that this tour will be conducted in British Sign Language.
ABOUT MARTIN GLOVER
Martin Glover, deaf BSL user, is an architect and art facilitator. Across the UK, he delivers tours and workshops on contemporary art, architecture, street art, and public art/sculpture. He also manages his Digitspace project, championing better visual art access nationally.
ACCESS
- The Main Gallery and Gallery 1 are well lit.
- Fire Station Galleries 2-4 have low lighting.
- Seating is available on request.
- There is one sound work in the Main Gallery which is a recording of a live music performance. This has no transcript.
- There are film works and a kinetic sculpture in the Fire Station galleries which are loud. The kinetic sculpture makes loud mechanical sounds which are not described in a transcript.
- All films over 10 minutes long have seating
- Films are subtitled or have transcripts available.
