Join us for this audio described tour of Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2022. 

The tour is free but booking is essential. 

The tour will cover: 

  • New Contemporaries and the organisation’s history 
  • Key themes in the exhibition 
  • Introduce several works in the exhibition including painting, installation, photography and sculpture 

The tour will last one hour and there will be time for questions and discussion.

Audio described tours are designed for blind or visually impaired visitors.

This tour is delivered by trained describer Di Langford and Lily Tonge, Exhibitions and Events Curator. 

ACCESS

  • All spaces are well lit with low noise
  • A large print exhibition guide is available
  • A Sensory Map is available
  • All moving image work has subtitles
  • The total watch length of all the films is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Seating is available in front of all films longer than 10 minutes
  • Ear plugs, ear defenders, magnifying glasses and wheelchairs are all available

Please note one film in the Main Gallery and some drawings in Gallery 2 contain nudity.
Please note there are two sculptures in the main gallery which have low, repetitive mechanical sounds.
