ABOUT FAMILY SPACE

Family Space is a programme of free workshops that take place on the last Saturday of the month. Sessions are self-directed and designed for families with children aged 5-12 years old. The space is supported by the SLG’s Art and Play team.

ABOUT CULTURETREE

CultureTree was founded in 2015, when Gbemisola Isimi discovered that there weren’t many resources or avenues to help with teaching children of African-heritage their mother tongue. What started as a YouTube channel with animated cartoons in Yoruba language has since grown to an organisation with three arms to the business; a Production Company, Brand Consultancy and Not-for-profit. CultureTree continues to grow as they partner and work on innovative and immersive ways to showcase the beauty, value and diversity of people and cultures on the African continent.
