Join us for a free, drop-in, creative workshop for families.
From June to September 2025, sessions will be led by Family Space Artist in Residence Jahnavi Inniss.
‘The source of art is in the life of a people’
Immerse yourself in the world of quilting and patchwork as you celebrate your rich personal histories. Participants will produce individual quilt blocks which will contribute to a large-scale collaborative quilt in response to the South London Gallery’s compelling floor inscription. What personal or collective histories would you like to document?
Suitable for children aged 5–12 years with their parents and carers.

As a craft educator, Jahnavi facilitates workshops which engage participants with stories of joy and empowerment to celebrate, reframe and document our collective and personal histories.
