TIBERIUS B
Born in the Tooting neighborhood of South London, Belcourt was raised on western Canada’s Cortes Island, an area marked by dramatic landscapes and severe winters. “The intensity of my environment connected me deeply to the effect music has,” they say. Throughout their childhood, they always felt a strong pull back to their birth city. At age 25, they moved back to London: “I went to my cousin’s wedding and didn’t get on my flight home.” Since 2021, Tiberius b has synthesized far-flung styles into sleek, galvanizing pop songs. Launching on June 6, NEVERYTHING is their debut album that deepens and sharpens the singer-producer’s omnivorous sound, embracing all the peaks and nadirs of human emotion on its way.
