Born in Paris to Beninese parents, Philippe Sonou drew his inspiration to become a chef from his mother’s delicious recipes.

With 18 years of experience in France, including three years at Le Mandarin Oriental Paris working alongside two-star Michelin chef Thierry Marx, Philippe’s passion for exploring new tastes and horizons eventually brought him to London. As a semi-finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals UK, he has demonstrated his exceptional culinary skills and creativity.

Specializing in West African fine cuisine, Philippe’s refined, flavourful, and welcoming culinary style, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail, promises to provide you with a memorable and delightful experience
