Make a notebook from scratch in this workshop led by book artist Kate Rochester from Hanbury Press.

Learn about specialist bookbinding tools as well as some basic book-binding techniques. Take home a personalised notebook and the skills to make further beautiful notebooks at home.


Kate Rochester is the founder of Hanbury Press, a small independent press and bindery based in East London.


  • Seating is available.
  • The activity will involve listening to the workshop leader and using equipment to make a notebook.
  • The event takes place on the second floor which is accessible via a lift or stairs.
  • Ear plugs, ear defenders, magnifying glasses and wheelchairs are all available.
