South London Gallery Supersmashers present an exhibition of work made over the last year, including photographs, textiles, sensory objects and sound recordings.

Supersmashers is an after-school club for looked-after children in Southwark aged 6–12 meeting weekly at the South London Gallery. The group have been working with artist Nicole Morris and a team of playworkers and social work students in a changing programme of playful exploration.

This year, through messy sensory making, we examined how we experience feelings in bodily ways. Making sound loops with our voices, we thought about words and language as powerful emotional tools.
