SLG Forever is an exhibition at Christie’s London this June, to raise vital funds for the South London Gallery.
More than 25 British and international artists, who have strong connections to the SLG , have generously donated works.

The exhibition is at Christie’s from 5-24 June and the sale continues online until 30 September 2026.
Many of the artists in the exhibition have had solo shows at the SLG, including Firelei Báez, Nairy Baghramian, Alvaro Barrington, Leonardo Drew, Tracey Emin, Ryan Gander, Katharina Grosse, Christina Kimeze, Michael Landy, Pope.L, Magali Reus and Keith Tyson, while others have featured in group exhibitions. Some have or had studios near the SLG, including Sir Frank Bowling, Edmund de Waal, Antony Gormley, Allison Katz, Francesca Mollett and Raqib Shaw. Gabriel Orozco created the SLG’s permanent Orozco Garden which opened to the public ten years ago. Other exhibiting artists include Oliver Bak, Chila Burman, Peter Davies, Anish Kapoor, Pedro Reyes, Ana Segovia, Yinka Shonibare, Silät (Wichi Community, Argentina) and Joseph Yaeger.
As we mark our 135th anniversary, the SLG Forever campaign aims to raise £2million to ensure that the gallery continues to thrive for years to come.
