ACCRA POWER is a documentary that explores perceptions of power in Ghana’s capital, one of Africa’s most thriving urban environments. The film follows the creative and artistic strategies of young Ghanaians situated at the crossroads of traditional belief systems, high technological and economic growth, infrastructural deficits and the current energy crisis.

ACCRA POWER was directed by Sandra Krampelhuber and Andrea Verena Strasser, and is selected for South by South by artist Emma Prempeh, who is currently exhibiting in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2019.
