What would the sound “whoosh” look like it were a sculpture? Come and decide with sound and visual artist Najia Bagi at the Sunday Spot this February. Be inspired by sounds and movement to make and play and watch “whoosh” grow into a 3D shape!

The Sunday Spot is an ongoing series of free, drop-in family activities which takes place every Sunday from 2-4pm, suitable for children aged 3-12 years. All sessions are inclusive, for more information on access to the gallery please read here.

 

BIOGRAPHY

Najia Bagi is an artist who is interested in sound, movement and collective actions and reactions. She explores transitions and the way we help each other to cope with changes in our lives. She sings and encourages others to sing too. She has over 5 years experience of devising and building multi sensory installations for babies, toddlers and families having worked at Tate Liverpool, FACT, Manchester Art Gallery, The Royal Exchange Theatre and Hull City of Culture 2017
