Working in response to the work of Jamaican artist Wilfred Limonious, the Art Assassins worked with artist Ben Connors to develop their own comic and music label.

Wilfred Limonious (1949–99) produced a significant body of work for the Jamaica’s music industry as well as working as a cartoonist for the national newspapers. In 2016 SLG hosted an exhibition of his work curated by Al ‘Fingers’ Newman and Christopher Bateman.

Art Assassins are a group of young beings aged between 14-21 years old who meet every Tuesday at the South London Gallery. To find out more about the Art Assassins click here.

Ben Connors has worked on projects with Tate Galleries, Royal College of Art, HeartnSoul, Centre for Research Autism and Education (CRAE) and the National Autistic Society (NAS). He also makes visuals and designs for music, poetry and club events and has worked with the Barbican Centre, Brownswood Recordings and the Roundhouse.
