Journal

Journal

The SLG Journal covers content from all walks of the gallery including the South London Gallery Bookshop, insider news from exhibiting artists and think pieces commissioned by the Education department.

This gallery has a rigorous international programme, but still feels very local. It’s very much about the area and the people who live around it.
Ryan Gander, Artist
A must-see on any visit to the UK, the SLG never fails to inspire and delight with its ambitious exhibition programme.
Zoë Gray, Senior Curator, Wiels
The South London Gallery is the most innovative art space in the capital, with great contemporary exhibitions.
Alicia Burrell, The Sunday Times
the South London Gallery is still one of the city's coolest contemporary art venues
Time Out
Global in outlook, local in impact...I’m constantly impressed by how they model what it means to be both in and for a neighborhood
Zoe Whitley, Director, Chisenhale Gallery
